Sasha first revealed to be transgender at the age of high school. Sasha was not a smooth transition, but he knew that by the support of his family and music he would be able to take it on. Jim and Sasha are both song writers and were just recently forming an official band. In the past they've appeared in many local venues such as open mics. The Voice coaches never discussed the background of Sasha, however Jim and Sasha have shared their story in a clip that was shown prior to their performance. Sasha began playing the guitar aged six. Jim and Sasha discussed their music tastes and shared stories about their first encounter. His father is a musician instructor, making learning the art form easier for him. Sasha faced identity issues in his youth, though he is a woman. In a post on Instagram, he revealed his problems. Jim felt emotional when he spoke of the reasons he was not capable of helping during these difficult moments. Sasha Allen's birth occurred as a woman. Sasha Allen is 19 in the year 2021. Sasha began his journey as the first male freshman in high school. Sasha declared on Instagram the fact that he is third trans person who had ever appeared on the series. He stated that he felt very proud and honored to be a part of all trans people.
