Sadie Amara Calvano has become famous for the role of Violet Plunkett that she played in the CBS show Mom. A California native, Calvano was initially interested in competitive gymnastics. Then, she made the decision to pursue a career path in acting. Her first appearance on screen was in 2010, in an Episode of CBS's 'NCIS. Her big screen debut came a year after with the biographical "J Edgar". She has become one of the hottest actresses over the last few years. For her performance in "NCIS," she was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best performance in a television Series - Guest Starring Young Actress 11-15 years old in the year 2011. She was also nominated in 2013 for a Young Artist Award, this time due to her performance as a guest in the comedy series of Disney XD "Kickin' It".
