Aisha Hinds
Aisha Jamila is a famous American actress, best recognized for her performances on TV's 'The Shield' and 'True Blood'. Her versatility has been evident from the moment she made her TV debut as a character in the year 2003. Her performances have been outstanding in series like "9-1-1", "Detroit 1-8-7" and "Under the Dome". The year 2005 was the first time she gained attention first for her performance as Anna in the television show 'Assault on Precinct 13". But it was her role as women's right advocate Fannie Lou Hamer, in the biography movie "All the way" that ultimately earned her the recognition she deserves as an actor. Hind was also acknowledged by critics for her performance in Harriet Tubman in WGN America's"Underground," an historical drama. She currently stars on the procedural drama series '9-1-1' in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta "Hen" Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the series for the third season. Recently, Hind wrapped filming for the Hollywood film 'Godzilla, King of the Monsters' and is set to release mid-2019.
